Do you have an anthem for your life?
You know, an anthem. A song that fires you up. Uplifts and inspires you. Maybe tells your story.
Last week when we were streaming Brian Buffini's Success Tour he ended one of the sessions with the video and story of the song, "This Is Me" from the movie "The Greatest Showman".
Now look, I know I am way late to the party on this one. The song never really resonated with me until I heard this story and watched this video.
To watch the transformation of the energy and the entire being of the artist as she sings is nothing short of amazing. How many of us have had those feelings? Being afraid, not feeling good enough, holding back for fear of what others will think or say ... or what they have already said. Or holding back for fear of being "too much".
But then ... you realize who YOU are. Fearfully and wonderfully made. Not a flaw or a mistake or an error in any part of your being, whether you perceive them or not. When you know who you are, who you REALLY are ... scars and bruises and all ... you can understand, as my favorite line in the song proclaims, "there's nothing I'm not worthy of".
Watch this and prepare to be inspired.
I'm not crying, your'e crying!
This is me.
What is your anthem?
