I think this is the perfect message for today. None of us know what life holds for us or the people we love from moment to moment. Things can change in an instant. Enjoy those moments, and wherever you are, be all there, in that moment.
Isn't that the hardest thing to do? I am so guilty of doing many things at one time, not being truly present in the moment. If you are with your clients, focused on your business, then be all there ... not taking other calls, thinking about what's next. When you are with your family, partner, children, friends, be fully present with them.
I'll be working on putting this into practice myself today. My littlest boy is 6 today! I'll be focusing on work and clients for the next 2 hours, then it will be all about him this afternoon as we have a birthday lunch of his choosing and then a visit to Toys R Us and Target so he can spend his birthday money. If anyone needs me this afternoon, I'll be in the Lego aisle. ;-)
