Self Care

The last couple days have been one (or two or three) of "those" days. You know the days ... nothing seems to go right. I have way to much to do and not enough time to do it in. I'm leaving for vacation on Saturday, have 2 new listings going on the market this week, 1 the week I get back, and several other active clients requiring attention. All "quality problems" as they say. Every time I would start to gain a little momentum knocking one of the many things off my to do list, I would get interrupted, stopped in my tracks, or completely derailed. Silly things, like trying to hang up some of my wet laundry to dry but we are out of hangers in the laundry room and so I am on a wild goose chase throughout the house trying to find more. Like trying to do a "mind map" for a class I am taking that utilizes an app, only I can't download the app because I hadn't yet downloaded the new iOS for my iPad. So I download the iOS, go do something else while it is loading, and then COMPLETELY forgot why I was doing it in the first place. Please tell me I'm not the only one. It's been 2 days full of this kind of stuff. For me, I usually find that when this is happening it is my sign to take a step back, take a deep breath, refocus and start again. I'm being told to slow down. How about you? How do you cope when you are having one of "those" days?
